Fedje har hatt post sidan ca. 1870 då Fedje postopneri vart oppretta. Her var det og telegraf og sentralbord. I dag har Fedje Post-i-butikk på Matkroken.

4.The post house

The postal service at Fedje was started around 1870. At the old post house there was also a telegraph service. Today the people of Fedje use the grocery store Matkroken, as their post office. This is common in many small Norwegian communities.

This summer you can find brochures in the post house. You can also learn about the peat industry of Fedje. It is open 10-16 every day.
